West Highland distillery Ardnamurchan has unveiled an exciting new release, the Ardnamurchan 10 Year Old, marking a decade since spirit first ran from its stills on Scotland’s most westerly mainland peninsula.
Bottled at 46.8 % ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, this new expression represents a milestone moment for the distillery and its team. The 10 Year Old is crafted from mature stocks laid down since 2014 and showcases Ardnamurchan’s signature balance of coastal character, gentle sweetness and refined complexity.
Released globally in November 2025, the batch is limited to 16,380 bottles and priced around £60 RRP in the UK, a statement of approachability as well as quality. Described as aromatic and bright, the whisky offers notes of citrus peel, shortbread and vanilla oak with a soft mineral finish.
Managing Director Alex Bruce commented,
“The Ardnamurchan 10 Year Old is our most important release to date, it captures our journey from new distillery to maturing producer and celebrates a decade of commitment to our remote west coast home.”
For whisky.directory readers, the release signals the maturation of Scotland’s modern craft distilleries, age-statement whiskies built on authentic provenance and patience.
